Le Foyer Bakery: Savor Authentic Haitian Patties and Treats in Mattapan

So Good! I brought 3 Patties for $7.15, good eats for a good price.

They need help with customer service but patties are so good.

This bakery has been around for 40+years and is using the same delicious recipe for their beef patties, chicken and fish patties. The patties are soft filled with the various meats and cooked to perfection . The staff is friendly and welcoming. This bakery also make special occasions cakes for birthdays, weddings, etc. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Be prepared to wait because the Le Foyer is very popular.

The patties were delicious! Also we ordered some slices of red velvet and carrot cake that had cream cheese frostings and they were so good. I don’t know why good service has always been an issue with Caribbean restaurants. Maybe it’s a culture thing, but it’s rare that you get “service with a smile.” I’m speaking as an individual with Haitian roots who has patron many Caribbean establishments from Brooklyn, Miami, and Boston and this stigma has been the same across these different cities. Hoping to see improvements.

I soon bas I walk in I placed my order the food came out hot. I was a nice bite of delight..

I came right before closing, and it was very busy and there was little food left, so I got cookies instead of savory food. I have never had a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie with coconut, but it was fantastic!!!

Great food! Love their patties. They run out fast some times. Expect to wait a long time in line though. They’re extremely slow. Atmosphere is ok. Not upbeat.
